Empowerment Series 2023

These classes serve as a way of motivating the youth to achieve personal growth by developing the necessary skills, attitudes, and mindsets to succeed and thrive in life. The current series, titled “Learning Without Limits,” takes students through eight sessions filled with valuable knowledge and empowering experiences.

Leading these classes are Mr. Hardge and Mrs. Vernon-Thompson, who bring their expertise and passion to create an engaging and impactful learning environment for the students.

The City is actively working hard to cultivate the minds of the youth in order to grow and develop professionals and leaders for the future. Over the past two years, the Empowerment Series has expanded from local Community Centers to schools like Lauderhill 6-12 and Boyd Anderson High School. As the Empowerment Series continues to grow and expand to other schools, we anticipate witnessing even bigger changes in our communities, as the youth are empowered to reach their full potential and positively impact the world around them.
