The Lauderhill CRA hosted an informative session on reverse mortgages as part of their Financial Playbook Series on September 25, 2024, at West Ken Lark Park. The 90-minute workshop, titled “The Ins and Outs of Reverse Mortgage,” was led by Jeremy Montanti, Executive Director of the Housing Foundation of America. The free session, part of the CRA’s Neighborhood Improvement Program, focused on helping seniors understand reverse mortgages, including financial implications and scam prevention strategies. The event, which required advance registration due to limited seating, demonstrated the CRA’s commitment to providing financial education to help residents secure their retirement years through informed housing decisions.
