Home Ownership Opportunities
The Lauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) opens the gates to provide residents of Lauderhill the dream opportunity of homeownership! Through its infill housing program, ten (10) prospective homebuyers will be selected from the CRA’s upcoming lottery scheduled to begin February 10th through February 29th, 2020. The Agency will hold a meeting on March 9th, 2020 where the fortunate prospects will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible lottery entries (lottery participants are encouraged to attend, but not required).
On June 14, 2004, the City Commission of Lauderhill adopted Resolution 04-R0691, which approved the findings of Necessity Report for the Central Lauderhill CRA and forwarded the report to the Broward County Commission for review and action. On June 22, 2004, the Broward County Commission passed Resolution 2004-596, which conferred power to the City of Lauderhill to create a Community Redevelopment Agency and prepare a Community Redevelopment Plan for the CRA. In order to guide development in the area to identify and access funding sources for public improvements the City of Lauderhill has prepared a Community Redevelopment Plan.

On Monday, March 9th, 2020 at the City Hall Commission Meeting, the first ten (10) names from our lottery list were randomly selected in a live drawing (names listed below).

Lauderhill CRA Ground Breaking Ceremony
On Thursday, December 17, 2020, the City of Lauderhill CRA held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Renaissance Point project in Central Lauderhill. The newly constructed single-family homes and townhomes are part of the redevelopment effort in the Central CRA District. Several of the CRA’s partners were present to celebrate this auspicious occasion, which included representatives from the Minority Builders Coalition, Broward County, HBR Construction, and Prism Architecture.
