The City of Lauderhill is once again shining a spotlight on local innovation and entrepreneurship with the return of its highly anticipated 4th Annual Small Business Pitch Competition, hosted by the Lauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). This exciting event is designed to empower aspiring and established entrepreneurs by giving them a platform to present their business ideas and potentially secure vital funding to fuel their ventures.
Interested participants must submit their applications by June 30, 2025, before 11:59 PM EST. Once applications close, the Lauderhill CRA’s Small Business Committee will carefully review each entry. From the pool of submissions, ten semi-finalists will be chosen to move forward in the competition.
On August 21, 2025, these ten semi-finalists will gather in person for the Pre-Finals round. Here, they’ll pitch their ideas live, aiming to secure a spot in the coveted Top 5. Those who make it through will advance to the final round, held on August 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM, also in person. At the final pitch event, the top five contenders will present their business concepts to a panel of judges and an audience, all vying for a chance to win cash prizes and gain visibility in the local business community.
